NEW STRETCH & STRENGTHEN CLASS IN FLORENCE PARK

GROUP EXERCISE

  • MENOSTRENGTH

    MenoStrength is a weekly strength training course for peri and menopausal women. It’s beginner friendly, with all equipment provided.

    The class runs every Tuesday (term time) from 9-9:30am in the Gill Garratt room in South Oxford Community Centre, Lake Street (OX1 4XA).

    Manage peri/meno symptoms with safe and effective weight lifting. We use bodyweight, dumbbell, kettlebells and resistance bands to build strength and boost bone health.

    £60 for the six-week term or £10 drop in. Spaces are limited to keep the group personal and supportive.

  • MENOCORE

    A weekly core strength training exercise class combining targeted abdominal and deep pelvic floor work to rebuild stability, confidence and total-body strength.

    The class runs every Wednesday during term time at 9-9:30am in the Gill Garratt room in South Oxford Community Centre, Lake Street (OX1 4XA).

    Drop in price £10 per class or pay for the term via the link below (£60).

    Spaces are limited to keep the class personal and supportive.

  • FIT FOR LIFE

    Fit for Life is a chair-based fitness class funded by Sport England, and supported by SOCA.

    The class runs every Tuesday from 10-10:30am (term time) in the Gill Garratt Room in South Oxford Community Centre, Lake Street (OX1 4RP).

    We do bodyweight and resistance band exercises during this low impact 30-minute class. Then enjoy a free hot drink and cake in the Community Cafe afterwards.

    £1 per class (subsidised / funded by Sport England).

  • CIRCUITS CLUB

    Circuits Club is a fun and fast paced exercise class, every Friday, 9-10am (during term time).

    We do a variety of exercises using free weights, resistance bands, Pilates balls, skipping ropes and wobble boards! Equipment is provided but you can bring your own mat.

    The 60-minute class is held in the Gill Garratt Room in South Oxford Community Centre, Lake Street (OX1 4RP).

    Suitable for all fitness abilities.

    £12 per class.

  • STRETCH & STRENGTHEN

    Stretch & Strengthen is a seated exercise class designed to improve mobility, core stability and balance.

    We do a mix of resistance band exercises using our bodyweight and bands.

    This low impact 30-minute class is funded by CIC Waste2Taste. It runs twice a week - Mondays and Thursdays, both at 10:30-11am (term time) at Shotover View, Craufurd Road, Oxford (OX4 2SQ).

    Free class (funded by Waste2Taste and Sport England).
